The Trail Making Test (TMT) is a neuropsychological test of visual attention and task switching.
Part A: Touch the numbers 1 – 25 in ascending order as quickly as possible.
Part B: Touch the numbers (1 – 13) and letters (A – L) in an ascending order, but with the added task of alternating between the numbers and letters (i.e., 1-A-2-B-3-C..)
Results for both TMT Part A and Part B are reported as the number of seconds required to complete the task and number of mistakes; therefore, higher scores reveal greater impairment.
A rough standard:
Part A: Most in 90 seconds
Part B: Most in 3 minutes
